SLINKACHU
The 'Little People Project' started in 2006. It involves the redoing the painting of little set characters, which I then place, photograph and leave on the street. It is a photography project. The scenes that he set up, more evident through the photography and the titles he give these scenes, aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humor. He wants people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works.
I don't like this picture because it doesn't look creative,
people might not like this because the way he created it, a massive
fly eating a small figure. They have used the central focal point, a composition rule. This picture is a bit dull. When people see this photo
they might not like because they don't like to see
blood or people being hurt.

I like this picture because I like the way,
he is jumping to the basketball net
also the basketball net as a tab from
a can. This picture has a rule of thirds which is a
composition rule. This picture is a bit
bright on the however the focus point
is to the right which is interesting.
Often slinkachu uses primary colours on plain backgrounds.

I like this picture because the way
he is in prison in a pop can. The figure
is small to fit inside the can. The photographer
has used a large focal point also a lagre F stop
to have the back of the can in focus. The photographer
has used double lighting. The light is inside the can and on
off the top of it. This creates dramatic shadow because there is a
big black shadow under the can, also the small black shadow inside the can.

Best photo
This is my best photo because they are in a tornado. I'm trying to tell a story like Slinkachu. This picture has used the central focus point, a
composition rule like Slinkachu.
composition rule like Slinkachu.
Worst Photo
This is my worst picture because it isn't angled probably.
The meaning behind this piece is they are meant to be
hanging around the building, but the building is pixelated.

I like this picture because it uses the rule of thirds and
a good composition rule. (on the surf board) The meaning behind
this photo was that the little figures were meant to be
surfing with the big people. The bad bit about this photo
was that the light is a bit to bright or you can see the reflection on the Ipad.

I hate this picture because you can see the
background and the computer screen. This picture
is a bit to bright on the screen, however this picture
has a bad deaths of fields, you cant see the full picture,
and it doesn't have the rule of thirds.

I like this picture because it focuses it the people on the people,
the jar also know as a pencil sharper. The meaning behind this photo is
that they are trapped in the jar, they were meant to get out. This picture has a
rule of thirds also a good composition rule. This pictures has a good depths of field
and I like the way it focuses it on the figures and the background is burred.

EVALUATION
In this project the theme was Slinkachu so it was based on little figures. In final pictures I used pic monkey
to edit my photos. All my final pieces have used the central focal point. In my final pictures I lowered and increased
the exposure in my 3 final pictures. I liked this project as I learnt how to change my camera settings and I learnt a lot. If I was to do it again I would try to use different focal points to make my work more interesting.
